Your Mission
The QA Manager will ensure that audits, tests, and other QA activities are conducted accurately, thoroughly documented, and compliant with both legal and internal policies and regulations. The role also involves reviewing and updating company policies and standards to align with current industry regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning, Executing, and Monitoring QA Activities:
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive testing and inspection plans to evaluate product quality and performance.
Ensure audits, tests, and inspections are carried out efficiently, accurately, and according to established protocols.
Track and report on key QA metrics, ensuring all necessary documentation is maintained and up to date.
Compliance and Policy Review:
- Review, evaluate, and update internal policies and standards regularly to ensure they comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and industry-specific requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams to assess current processes and implement necessary changes to align with evolving compliance and regulatory standards.
- Ensure that all testing procedures and audits are performed in compliance with internal and external guidelines and regulations.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor the QA team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of quality.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Product Development, Production, and Compliance, to resolve issues and improve overall product quality.
- Ensure cross-functional teams are aware of any updates or changes to policies, procedures, or regulations.
Continuous Improvement and Risk Management:
- Identify areas for improvement in current QA processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Proactively address potential risks in the production and testing process, ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Ensure all QA activities are thoroughly documented and reports are created for stakeholders, including audit logs, test results, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and present regular QA performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key findings, challenges, and improvement plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or testing role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in quality assurance and testing.
- Proven experience in auditing, policy development, and compliance management.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with both automated and manual testing tools and quality management systems
